    new chat

I'm glad the normal chat room doesn't have sound, then we could have just called everyone instead of typing to each other! I'm REALLY glad that the video chat isn't there yet, for when PB is there... ;-)

Tin, I bet he could draw us some cave paintings of it...

    new chat

If 5 of us did it it would probably overload the GA duct tape and bailing wire cell service.

Trying to hang in here on new updates

Yeah, I have my settings at what JP said, so I didn't think about it being a million pages long... OPPS.

I have been having the same issue all day, also I have to keep adjusting my monitor to see the chat button, otherwise it is blocked by the search window.

    after market carburator

yes, a normal pump from any Dodge with that same engine (think 1950-1960 range) will bolt on and work, just won't have the vacuum pump. I don't have a top of any sort for mine, so I just won't drive it in the rain. lol. However my pump works great, the fuel side and the vacuum side.

    M915a1 voltage question

That's the only reason I've gotten away with it barely charging all these years, is that all my trailers are LED. I've got to get it fixed now though, as the batteries no longer hold enough charge to start it due to the low charge voltage for so long.

Dave if you go to the quick links button, and click, it brings a drop down, which has, Who's Online. Bam!

Are lights on a timer circuit when engine is not running?

Nope, I think your breaker in the light switch is faulty, or you have a large draw somewhere. I had the same issue with my first deuce. If I ran the convoy lights and the headlights, everything would trip off after awhile, and I would have to wait and they would come back on. Does it only do it...

    Greetings from SC!

Welcome to the site! I'm just to the SE of Columbia, and have many workhorses/toys. I'm still thinking of having a SC meet and great sometime next year, would be great if you could make it. Definitely shoot for coming to the GA rally, and if you want to ride along/drive something to Haspin...

Need something moved? I'm moving from WA to GA then in a few months on up to NC

If you run into trouble or need a place to crash, I am along I-20 in Columbia, SC, which would be on your route to Bragg I think. Good luck and drive safe!

Kayne, I can get two Blem batteries from the local interstate battery warehouse for $35 each. I could bring them down...

Reviving the 83 ford with LDS 5 ton drive line

I live near Columbia, I would be willing to come down one weekend and help you get her going, I just want to drive it once in return!

    M915a1 voltage question

My truck also does this. After driving back from the GA rally this year, with my lightbar running, the truck barely had enough power to start after shut off. I believe my alt is not working correctly. I am going to change out the regulator, and see if that fixes it, if not, it is total alt...

    XM211 Recovery trip

I should have never sold that truck... but I would have never had the time to take care of it the way it needed. Glad Brandon didn't cut her up!

    LED Route Clearance Lighting

Gimp would cover the bulb up with the duct tape! Just pick a duct tape color and then paint your truck to match.

    Wrecker tow light SNAFU

Richard, I had to do something similar, and to do it, there is a pin diagram somewhere that says pin B is this, D is that, etc. I used a multimeter to trace out the wiring, to find the ground, left, right, marker. Only 4 really need to be connected, unless you plan to tow in blackout conditions.
