Being in NY, and realizing what the salt does to our trucks, wondering if you plan to store it in the winters to hide it from the rust Monster? If not, then it won't much matter. In a few years it will be sacrificed anyways. If it was me, I would love a beautiful 1008 to do nothing but keep...
Welcome. I love your area of the country, was stationed at McChord for 8 years. Sure do miss seeing the mountain every (most) days ! Good luck on your project, sounds like a good one.
You can force the fan on. Put the locking bolts in, and see what happens. If that cools you back down, then you have it narrowed down. Interesting though that the oil and tranny temps are not rising with the coolant. Are you driving the truck to get it hot, or is it running up static...

Soooooooo I was not able to go, I was at NC Steel Soldiers rally, but would really like to see some pics of what I missed. Really want to get to this one, even with all of the complaints (unfortunately the happy people rarely share that). There has to be more than a single photo from the...
I use 911 religiously. Tractors, trucks everything. Never had a single problem ever. I think it helped uncover some other issue that has sat dormant previously. If this stuff was so bad there would be ALOT if broke down trucks.
