Take a close look at the fuel cans. That is a typical German/European lock. So it might have started its life over here. There are still LOTS of fuel cans left over from WW2 here. If they are from Germany, there is a chance that you might get lucky. They look old enough.
There are a few things that can pop this fuse.
1. A volt regulator going bad.
2. Holding the S1 up for LONG time periods. By that, I mean 1-2 Min. Why would someone do that? Troubleshooting comes to mind.

You have the AUX position for the fuel selector. And have fuel hooked to the 3 way valve. When you loosen the line to the injector and pull it over, is there any fuel coming out?
