I need to move it because it hits the pitman arm. It only needs to move back 1/2 inch however the zero rate is either 1 or 1 1/2. It does not allow for moving the axle only 1/2 inch forward so it puts me at moving the axle back to the stock location.
I was considering making custom zero rates...
I have no problems in the rear, the shackle flip gives it just enough it would not hurt to have a slight bit more angle. It is pointing at the oil pan and not the t-case but it has no vibration or bumps due to the cv hitting its stops.
My front driveshaft is longer than the rear. My t-case...
I have a dana 60 and 14 bolt with a 5 inch lift using zero rates.
I have to move the axles back to stock location. currently have front moved forward an inch and back moved back an inch.
Since I am going to take it apart again, I want to shim both axles to help my pinion angle. I have CV style...
I just finished my drive shaft brake install. It is a TSM driveshaft brake for a 205 transfer case. I have a CV style output flange and they did not make a rotor for this so I had one made. I took the flange to a fab shop and had them cut me a rotor from 3/16 steel and then welded it to the...
cost the same to rebuild a civy as it does a 1009 when it comes to the basics. The civy has more to fix but it is easier to fix it than to add it.
I think the big key is your wife is going to be driving it. Get the civy with the comfort and noise control.
If you can get her to drive a stock...
I have read post here that a leak on the fuel line at the IP and the IP itself can leak which will puddle on you intake manifold and only run to the ground when the truck is at the right angle so a small leak looks like a large one for a short period of time and also seams intermittent. I...
I believe you are interpreting the rim width wrong. The 6.5 you are reading is the hole spacing on the rim for the wheel studs. They are 6.5 inches from center to center. The standard cucv rim I believe is 8 inches wide bead to bead. And the rim width is not a huge issue a half inch in...
you say this tach hooks up to alt. directly. it does not need a device to decode the Alt. signal like the Dakota digital DS-1 interface I had to buy for mine?
if your tires are oversize, you may need the washer anyway. Most new springs don't seem to hold as well as the old ones. Chinese metal. I have a set of ORD rubber inserts but have not tried them yet. waiting for next time I have a reason to take it apart.
The washer will compensate for the...
I do not know of any. curious why you would need to do this. It will only make your front driveshaft angle worse.
ORD sells competition motor mounts they may add some clearance, supposedly they are a lot stiffer. They also have a high clearance cross member if it helps you any. I think I...
yes I have the inner bead locks installed, I went online to Hutchinson and requested a dealer near me and a shop out of Oklahoma was able to process the order and get me the new orings. they were $17 each. I got two spare for 6 total and it was around $100. getting close to two weeks and...
I picked up my centramatics at their factory south of Ft. Worth. I actually went twice since the first set I bought did not fit. I told them what it was going on and that I plan to run balance beads also and they said I may need the balance beads also due to the weight of the tires I am...
I finally got a little time for the truck. Put the tires and rims together and got them mounted on the truck.
Michelin 39X11 R16 on Hutchinson aluminum GM bead locks. The tires are old but brand new, in brand new condition so I hope the hold
up for a while. I have a second set of brand new...
Have you been having to pay shipping both ways like I did?
I won't give them a third try. If they can't get it right out of the box twice, I will never trust it on the road.
good luck.

I hope the tires are working for you should be the best tire and wheel for your area. I found where I had three spare bolts and nuts that hold the rims together, one extra o-ring and a spare valve stem. I will mail you these items.

I looked into from what I found out it only pays with range on the vehicle with a turbo. On a non turbo it adds a minimal horsepower gain. ONLY a small trickle charge type system is recommended unless you want to blow it up fast.
By saying it only pays with range means you can drive farther...
