Don't know, probably this didn't happen later on...?
It wasn't really bad seals. What it was is those are V-seals and I found two of them came twisted 90deg in their groove, which would NOT keep the water out - if submerged or pressure-washed...
I was able to fix that and actually re-use the...
I know, I know... I also hate cheap quality products, no matter where they are made. But I have also learned that not everything coming from "there" is junk. That's why in THIS case I said give it a try...

Why? ... just because it says China? At least they don't hide the fact... You can always wipe that word off with a rag and paint thinner.
I would try them out; they are not that difficult to replace if necessary... or send them my way and I will gladly tell you results in a few years...

No, to my (very limited)knowledge they are all made by Systems & Electronics Inc, in St. Louis, MO. And their max. width is stated as 144", for all, which I'm almost sure now, refers to the distance between the outer tire sidewalls. That should be the same for all, except the ones that were...
Thanks for the tip..
I have often referenced to that VERY GOOD book and could have sworn that we had it in our own library... maybe we had it in the past...?
Will do the upload, now.

OK, no secret... LOL.
Basically you mount a wheel on a lathe (or equivalent), to center and hold the rubber part in place. Then turn it at 80-100rpm and use a razor-sharp, spoon-shaped HSS tool for cutting, on both sides, creating a good groove towards the center. Then use a sharp knife (+...
Yes, many years, really - and plenty of time for them to have their bugs worked out already.
I've never heard anything back from them- about those issues (of course...)
And no failures reported here, either...

IMHO the 12-bolt wheel is a crappy design - compared to the later "D" and "E" 24-bolt styles. And even those still have a relatively high tolerance...
I have retrofitted mine with alignment dowel pins, two per wheel... (1st pic)
Then I convert the original runflat/beadlocks into...
Something does not look right with the tires on that replica M1000, sticking out that far...... ?
FYR, here are two of many pics I took a few weeks ago in Doncaster, UK...
Still a cool thing to have for display... someone must have spent X-many hours recreating these little monsters.
Thanks...
So what does a "torque generator" do then, if not increasing the torque - on the steering box input shaft....??? Tom has it right: this creates even more strain and wear on all the steering gear internals which we already know are weak links... see my post here.

So, all that discussion.... and not one word about all 6 wheels being off - and wood blocks stacked like this....??
Google for keywords like "wood block cribbing..."

:ditto:
What comes from the tank(pump) is only at low pressure, 5-7 psi.
The best way: replace that section. Its' only a short piece of 1/2" copper tube, with a 90deg elbow, flared for the (stock) nuts.
Agree with Doghead and Scar59: maybe the quickest way, as a temporary fix, I would cut the...
Yup, that's exactly it .... what I thought when I read your post #11. Thanks for taking the time to shoot some pics. I had never seen one, installed.
I suppose that you have the correct gears also (T22/T33, vs. stock T21/T34), to have the same ratio - front to rears...?
I know the loggers in my...
