You are in LUCK! The drywall is all hung, taped and floated to level 5 flat but yes, prime and paint is still in progress. Prime now, as I had to prove texture is cover up for poor drywall skills.
Yes, it looks like fun as it is so,etching I have yet to see. Primary and secondary brake...
Anchor in Fitz NH Is the manufacturer. The part that slides into the base is why I call the tang, it resists bending from the jaw load which is several inches above the lead screw. It broke right at the junction. Clean fracture, I sent a picture to mkcoen in a text.
I have flux for silver...
I need to keep up with the schedule of my better half so we can work as a team...just have a little more drywall here to properly finish so my better half won't be filing for divorce.
I would recommend working on mechanical now. The yellow will only get easier to remove with weathering...
One of the most important pieces of equipment on the FMV broke in the line of service. I was pressing in another universal joint, on a civy vehicle, and the vise broke. Nasty snap, the alignment tang on the moving jaw snapped right at the jaw. Heavy cast iron but it is probably repairable...
Yes, it is an M1028A3 since it has dual rear wheels (DRW) and the transfer case is a New Process 208 as evidenced by the shifter mechanism with the indicator on the floor. An A2 variant would have a NP205 transfer case which only has a boot on the floor with shifting indicator on the knob...
Dog Head relay...DH relay.
I would pull the starter to bench check it. It could have been that solenoid or more likely, the mechanical linkage of the Bendix drive which can go over center and stick.
I had had it happen, only it was missing the pinion retainer. The pinion eventually chewed...
The forces are the same, double shear. No bending in the horizontal plane as they pivot in that axis. When lead vehicle is turning, the double shear is partially reversed which in no way compromises strength. Now if one foot fails, a much different situation happens.
Check tow bars at every...
I used POR's tank sealer, a urethane sealant. Light gray in color, it is still in great shape after 4 years. Every year the tank gets drained, mopped out and then refilled with fresh diesel. This new diesel I have been getting is crystal clear, should be a good time to photograph the clean...
No, algae grows in water. That scum in diesel, when you get water mixed in, is bacteria. Keep diesel dry by runnin the set and swapping out old diesel. Clean, fresh diesel makes for happy injection systems.
nothing wrong with poly, mil spec hoses and insulation was designed to withstand a...
I found the same bushings at Tractor Supply back in 2012, now those parts assortments are no more as TSC. Did an inventory reduction and ended that rack jobber.
These bushings work great, flat towing the M1031 for 1500 miles was relatively easy. They had minimal wear after that trip so they...
A least the lobby wasn't filled with frumpy 40 something Chatty Cathy public school teachers harping about all that wasted paper and lost trees..I so wanted to shout "trees are a crop like corn" but didn't because that might start a tirade of anger on property tax day.
Yes, the 1031 is legal...
Filters without the internal check valve will let oil drain back to the crankcase, causing low oil pressure on startup until the system reprimes. That being said, I don't know which filters for the 6.2 have a check valve.
I counted 160 pallets, at 50 pounds each, that is 4 tons. With trailer, that would be a 5 ton load which would require brakes with break away brakes.
Two violations there. Want to bet he didn't secure the hitch properly? I've done stupid stuff too, like using a 1-7/8" ball with a 2" coupler...
Heads explode? After last week, they should be relieved. Line was around the lobby, out the door and to the sidewalk. Property tax deadline...
Any more digging into steering issues? I need a break from drywall, I could tug the generator over to fire up the heater.
That is why the oil pressure gauge is visible to the operator, you let off the start switch once you see 15 PSI or more. The starter cuts out above 600 RPM. Oil pressure builds fast at 1800 RPM. The only load is the blower fans, you should never start a generator with breakers closed. Once...
These are Onan engines, not Briggs and Stratton. They also have fixed injection timing which can be hard on the engine when running at slow speeds.
The pistons have three compression rings plus oil control ring. They run fine at 1800 RPM straight out of the gate.
I use a 150 amp circuit breaker, good enough for 36 volts so it runs fine at 28, besides the voltage rating is for arc extinguishing capacity. They care not what voltage they are run at.
I use another to protect the 80 amp 24 volt motor that spins the air conditioning compressor. It has...
