You could have big problems there I am afraid. Have you rodents around that could have munched wiring under the dash?
Now that wires have burned up seemingly in separate places, you are just going to have to look at a re-wire it seems. Don't be put off, Just start and look for the obvious signs...
Fantastic vehicle. Looks in really fine fettle. That is going to be so much fun.
Now if you lived 'next door' (or almost)..I have a good few spare spares, Including a complete set of wheels and tires in excellent shape. It is a bit far realistically to .."swim" ours there to you with the bits!
Well actually, fun aside, I had a friend who had an "explosion"..A spanner dropped onto the starter motor!..(my motto) "the ONLY way to keep out of trouble, Is NOT to get into it in the first place".
Rule definitely applies "going down steep hills."
Check, Air pressure. . >>other Gauges.

Well we heard about a 'Motor Fayre', With classic cars and 'things of interest' attending. So I get a phone call asking if our group could send something of interest. The older guys could not (really) be A...D! and I was not overly keen, NOT so the lads! (helpers) "We'll (all) take the Wrecker...
Welcome from blighty. When you have possession of both (of them), you should be able to get started on a great restoration project there. Your finished truck will certainly get some looks!. Perhaps you are going to some military events?. Does anyone bushside have any WW11 jeeps dodges or similar...
Don't waste the fuel, strain it. And check that in tank pump filter, it may be clogged. Once primed the deuces do not generally need the in tank pump running all the time. But the fuel must be able to be drawn through the screen.
Can anyone explain why there is (now)"No editing" feature again?
There certainly was up to last night.
Now if a mistake is made one ends up "trucking" down the post page repeatedly, Like me incorrectly trying to rectify the mistake by "reply with post".
(any) Moderator, Can you please tidy up...
Very welcome indeed, Sounds like you (must have) enjoyed that trip. Brave notion, The truck must be well 'sound'..For the bounce, Try experimenting with the tire pressures. Then if no go, try material to squirt into the valves, Or beads to put in the tires of which you will find various types on...
As mentioned, Inverter positive+ to the 24 volt positive Power out on the vehicles first battery, and Inverter negative to the (second) battery negative. Make sure and use a good quality heavy duty wiring for the job.
Fit a separate idolator switch, and a suitable fuse.
Ugly duckling does not quite sum it up! That is one weird looking beast. Nice though, Will be following your progress and eventual dip in the water with great interest.
Absolutely agree. Just an opinion, but that bar just does not look all that strong to me.
I use the long and short medium and heavy tow bars. And for dual tows the (hollybone) Tank bars. Heavy, yes. But Safe.
Looking with interest for the response from Ibis Tek though..
Welcome to the site and hobby. Nice looking (large!) truck. Arizona does rather have a "special" feeling and corona.
The Kid working on the jeep into the night replacing a head gasket, Makes me reminisce when I look and think, Those tires have crossed Arizona, the desert, And 'touched Ayres'...
And, if you go for a halftrack, choose the white, Smooth engine, more MPG (believe it or not) And a better turn of speed and power. I was always taught the overhead valves engines were better, quicker, and more powerful. Hum, Well my White beat the M9 all ways up. My 1/2 penne'th
