I regularly haul 140,000 gallons at a time of the stuff... sometimes I get lucky and can get some 'waste' fuel when they clean a tank out or send a refueling truck to maintenance.
I've burned it in many different diesel engines. Mixing it with regular diesel, some 2 stroke, WVO, or WMO, and...
Headlights are now wired through a relay, which is 12v controlled but will be convered to 24v load, when I get my LED headlights installed. [thumbzup]
Oil and transmission oil is all drained, going out to drop the tranny pan and change that gasket and filter, and refill with Dextron. Haven't...
I drove the truck into work today, so I can change the oil, change the transmission filter and fill with Dextron, and work on the A/C. I forgot my camera though... So I will have to use my phone, the pictures won't be as good. Stand by for more updates. 8-)
I'm thinking my next upgrade to the M915 will be 24in rims and tires, for just a little bit lower RPM at the speeds I run now, plus the ability to 'push it' a little if I'm running behind.
Ok, got the control panel installed. I cut out where the wiper and washer controls and lights go- they are getting upgraded to electric so the switches will be moved to the light control panel.
And I think I have my condenser unit placement figured out. fat lady sings
The light for the control...
Cherry Queen huh?
First pic, Cherries. No problem.
Second pic, strawberries. Problem!
Had an awesome time and it was great to see everyone again. Can't wait for the GA rally this year!
Glad we were able to deliver the 'package' without Dave's knowledge.
Said 'package' is getting ready...
Welcome from Hopkins!
You're welcome to come down anytime and drive my stuff and ask questions.
You will learn quite a lot here and meet some really great people too.
Rear bracket is fabbed up and installed. That compressor isn't going anywhere! No vibration other than the normal engine stuff. So one major step, complete!
Way ahead of you Dave,
I'm putting a back brace that runs to a spot on the block with a mounting plate, to keep it from pulling the compressor down, and dampen any vibrations that will want to rock the compressor back and forth. Getting ready to head outside and start on that part now. :)
Got one support piece cut. I missed the hole by about 3/16. I need to get my drill press set up! anyway, it's dark out now and I need to get ready to go collect oil.
I'll weld it up in the morning and make the hole a bit bigger. Then I will add the back support to the block and weld that in to...
Ok, while I decide where to put the condenser unit, I can at least mount everything else. Found a real good spot for the compressor. Going out to get some longer bolts now, then home to do some welding!
Tinkerbell is ready to go!
I can't take her anywhere this time of year, she's a chick magnet!
She had her belly shaved and you can still see the scar in this pic. She had all her 'sausage making equipment' removed. LOL!!!
Nice trailer! I was planning to get one for a long time to make a trailer for a small 3k clark forklift I had. Sold the forklift so no need for it now.
lol I agree on the batteries, especially having to hump them in and out of a M923 I picked up for a fella.
I have thought of that WM, but I am putting in the air ride seats, and plan to mount a storage box inbetween. You know there never is enough storage on a tractor...
I may still go that...
After dreaming about installing it last night (can you say I had it on my mind?) I went out on my way to work and looked at it, fitting it in different places, etc. So much that I was a tad late to work...
I've come up with 4 possible solutions. I climbed in the pass side and I've got...
Well, my phone rings at about 0430 this morning. It is Phil (stonepicker1) at my gate with my A/C kits. We get him in and unloaded (GOT to get the wrecker working!)
So I go to work. From the second I'm on the road to work to when I email the boss saying I'm taking the afternoon off, I'm...
