besides having my spedo off in 4low What is a list of parts to make a 4l80e/np205? besides Compushift controler what year tranny/ generation? 2wd or 4wd?

Will the 205 round pattern bolt up? I thought I read that most of them will and you just drill the others that don't line up. Maybe I'm thinking about the NV4500. If you have a compushift controller is it easier to use the 4x4 or is the 2x4 better and switch out the tail shaft?

Its a way of describing a older style NP205 it has more bolts than the newer circle bolt 205

Rear: Go to a spring shop with your old u bolt and add 4 inches that would prob be the easiest. you are going to run into a problem with your front also. front: U-Bolts, Leaf Spring - SummitRacing.com

does it matter if the tranny originally came out of a gas job? or is it just like the th400 different tC?

you got long and short, coarse and fine thread. Dont quote me but i think 1983 had coarse and 84+ had long and fine. 6.5 injectors work also.

Did your exhaust hit the frame in any spots. Mine hits right at the firewall and right on the side of my np208. Got anymore picts of the truck?

How did it clear the 205? I'm gonna straight pipe it so ill have to customize it. right now i just have the down pipe.

I was bidding on that truck on ebay. Lift kit companies compensate and usually do more lift in the front. The oem front springs are horrible on these trucks.

Update::: There was a diode that went across the back of the turn signal flasher terminals that went bad. I have no idea why it was there but its fixed now.

how is that exhaust working out for you? when I mocked up mine it seemed to hang real low. I think you will be fine if you bypass it.

If I was to install the kit again I would put an elec fuel pump on. I had the whole front clip off and it was still a PITA.

Did some more exploring today. I hooked up my spare column to the truck and it did the same thing. One thing I did do was buy a HD flasher and try that.. Same results. Then I hooked up a test light to the lower flasher housing and Im getting power from both terminals all the time is that...

so pretty much if it continues just remove the bulb. The only reason I like it is when you shut it off and restart later.
