Started tearing down the generator for cleaning and re-fit today.
Found the two exhaust leaks that had created most of the soot (just exhaust gasket and a missing bolt).
Took dimensions so I can fab up a head pressure relief rod (the lever and handle are both there, just missing the rod)...
Shaft removal is SOP for a flat tow via tow bar.
I was watching that truck just for run and it was *super* clean.
Just work your way thru the TM troubleshooting guide and I be you find the issue asap...
I've been pondering ways to lock the cap (although I likely won't need to once I get the ambo box or other type of side skirting that will limit access).
I have seen a few locking caps with the proper thread and diameter, but they would require tacking a small lip inside the opening.
