As mentioned the door bottoms tend to rust out. I do "oil" mine regularly. And There is a tendency for the bulkhead section support to rust where the exhaust heat passes onto it. Sometimes both sides. (just under and towards the back underneath of the mudguards).

That's what we did with ours. Replaced one set with electrics because the previous owner used penetrating oil to lube them, And jigged them up completely.
I am not familiar with the system, but if air pressure operates (with hydraulic?) Then use a compressor and pump up the system through the glad hand, or a fitting (you can put) at the base of the air tank.

Well if they are "spring(y)" They look like they Clip into or under something. If no holes for bolts, I would look at an exploded view of the engine. (sump?) Curios..keep us up to date. And see who solves this weeks >puzzle<

It is a relatively easy and straight forward task. I removed the bed and replaced it with a Russian radio body to make a camper on a five ton in a day. I did have the M62 and two fork lifts available in the yard tough.
