Is there not a relevent T.M. for you look at? or a trouble shooting guide? or wiring diagram? (as it) sounds like you have blown a link or fuse somewhere. Trouble is are those trucks not controlled by a (dreaded!) computer set up? or king size ecu?. Could be a problem that's been caused there...

Heard of this, But Mine ( 4 ) have been trucking on for over 14 years, no problems. My 1/2 pence worth.

Ditched my fuel heater and fitted an 24v heater assembly from a commercial truck. Cheap, easy to fit and works great.

The wings and profile reminds me of an English Electric Canberra.

That's one of the "useen/unkown" problems with those in tank pumps As a deuce will start run and drive just fine without the in tank pump running, So when the pump fails (unknown to the driver) the truck just keeps going fine. Why these things spin their heads off mile after (1000s of!) miles...

Not advisable. Anything with wider track and the geometry of the hmv causes big problems.

Small crumb of comfort over here scrapyards are paying "nowt"! and you can't even leave it at some yards. One less venue for the thieving types anyway.
