Sigh. Just put in a dual voltage hummer alt. It fits the exact same location as the stock one. I got one cheap from TimandTrucks a few years ago, installed it in my m109.
(this is not a picture of the one in my m109, notice how clean it is and the yellow engine)
Well, lets tally it up-
2, count them 2 MKTs will be at haspin
you can off road anywhere, anytime. No gates, or guides
Ferro Fuel Depot
a much better shower facility
Shear numbers does not a better rally make.
clinto won't EVER be there.
Just mess'n with you buddy!
There...
Well, maybe this year I'll leave the top on the m818, (if it goes) to keep the mud out. It is fun driving it without a top, and you don't have to worry about ripping it. (just scratching your face with branches!)
Welcome to the site!
I would recommend putting the max that you are comfortable paying for and also what you will max out at hauling, you don't want to pay the penalties.
FYI, the m916 has the 3.5 in king pin 5th wheel, if you didn't know that already.
If you need a hand with anything, or want someone to go with to let you know what everything is, I'd be glad to. I work at Shaw AFB, it's only like 2hr from MB
I was just about to go 'what the heck is he doing getting a 10ton, and where did he get the m816 for the recovery? why didn't he take the m915 and low boy.
Then I looked at the date.
DOH!
I fixed my first trucks soft top- and I had the plastic for the front. It sucked, and didn't last very long. The plastic itself fell apart a few months later.
Ok, to answer your question, I 'fixed' your drawing.
all we were saying, is that buying a top would save lots of time and energy rather than fixing your broken one.
Mine only has the griddle. There are no ranges on it, so probably not any pots or pans. I do have a brand spanking new range loaded with stuff, at CGarbee's place. Just need to get it down here to install it.
Part of the reason 'modern' gas burns so crappy in a deuce straight is the ethanol. I burn all kinds of stuff in all kinds of engines, from a small deutz air cooled diesel to a locomotive engine. The trick is-
A. It has to be CLEAN and WATER FREE
B. get the flash point as close to diesel as you...
