I've been burning it for years in my deuce, haven't had a seal or a line go or leak- YET
And it hasn't been B100 all the time, but a pretty good blend usually.
One thing that helps is if you make it at home, wash it well. The more lye and methanol you get out of it, the better.

We had several fuel oil purfiers similar to what got sold. The big fuel on would do 135gpm, so that is 8100gph. But we would be using it to fill 24,000gal service tanks. We had smaller ones for the lube oil. I really want one of them. We would put it on recirc on a 1600 gallon main reduction...
My MKT isn't really ready, but I could bring it and with some burners we can cook in it. Angie isn't happy I even got the thing so we will see if I can make this work.

Great simple build! We love the one my wife built. Lots of fun...
Generally they won't just pull you over to check the tank. You get pulled for something else, then they also dip the tank. If you get pulled in a big truck, they will also look the whole rig over for any other violations. The fuel in the tank, is treated like a busted tail light or broken mirror...
They want the road taxes from ANY fuel burned to propel ANY vehicle on a public roadway. From a M911 to a volkswagon beetle.
The tank dipping is not limited to 'commercial' trucks.
Like I've been saying, you get a blenders license, someone wants to dip the tank, you show the license. You get...
Might have been some part of the red in the ATF that was the same then.
They want the money alright- But fuel taxes actually do go to fix roads. And you can't use the excuse- "well I paid taxes on the motor oil when I bought it to put in the engine". Now it is used to power a motor vehicle on...
If one battery is undercharged it won't start the truck. This happened to my M818 one day. Only had two batteries in it instead of 4. The intake heater is 12v, so it is hooked to only one battery. I drove it all day and someone had turned the heater on- I didn't notice. Went to restart the truck...
