Put a bit of gasoline in your mix and get it out on the highway for a good flogging. Water in a high compression engine tends to start removing parts of the pistins at edges like the crown and the CC.
Remember, oils have additives like sulpher, ash, moly, etc. That stuff doesn't burn too well...
Looks like an old old NHC230 with a smoke kit on it. Are there piston cooling nozzles in it? Can't in the pics. There should be a s/n stamped in the block on the flat spot above the air comp mount.
That is screened aluminum. No way to renew that. Maybe contact MV dataplates and see if he can use yours to make some. Here's what it should look like,
M116A1, M116A2, M116A2E1, and M116A3 Chassis Trailers
The lunette is a tad low for towing with a deuce, but I have seen it done. Very hard to see while backing. No brakes unless it has been upgraded to surge brakes.
FUD
Ask yourself, if you put something in every 4 tanks, what happens during the last half of the 3rd fill up?
What you put in the tank would be so diluted there would be zero benefit.
The ULSD has additives in it to prevent hurting class fit parts, just like oil has additives in it to protect...
I seem to remember reading somewhere and seeing these mods in the article I read, that these were outfitted like this to keep mud from flinging back up into the occupants faces and laps after hostilities were over. I can't remember where I read it
Yes, the -10 has the info and it has been discussed plenty of times. Yet another case of RTM....Oh wait, nobody can 'CAUSE WE DON'T HAVE THEM HERE!!!!
And everyone wonders why these questions keep getting asked over and over
A, you really should download and read some manuals.
B, Not a sensor, it's the intake heater injector. You can cap it for now or if it isn't cold where you are, leave it capped.
C. Read some manuals to familliarize youself with the truck and power plant. You will be glad you did.
Not trying...
While I don't have an 880, i'd say try it around 10, or do the ear tune method. Advance it 'till it pings on a hard acceleration, then back it off a bit. Make sure to check that the advance wts are working also.
Any of these places close to you?
