Did anyone see the FLU419 that just sold on Bring a Trailer? It was located in North Carolina. Went for $32,000.00 and no hydraulic tools.

I had a problem with my right outrigger. Like yours, it would go down and not stop until fully extended and I couldn't get it to go back down without beating on the lever with a hammer or rock. In my case, the piston was severely corroded. Fortunately, I found an NOS valve assembly for the...
Trickle chargers and maintainers aren't designed to charge dead batteries. You need to get a real battery charger, and if you have AGM batteries, make sure you have a charger designed to charge AGM batteries. You are much better off charging each battery separately at 12 VDC instead of both...
It really does work. When I received my M1030M1 diesel motorcycle it had an Odyssey AGM battery in it. Dead as a doornail. Using the recovery process. I was able to save the battery, but it took over a week. I was able to use the battery for almost a year and a half before it really did die...
I have Super Start 51-R AGMs in some of my equipment. I have been completely happy with them and the extra power. They are also made in the U.S. unlike the Mexican Odyssey batteries. I got good service from Odyssey batteries until they relocated manufacturing to Mexico.
I've been with USAA fror years, but they won't insure my FMVs. I had my M35A3 insured with State Farm, but they raised the rate to an unacceptable level. I got a quote from Hagerty for my M35A3 and my M151A2. Then I went to a local independent insurance agent and they got me the same Hagerty...
Having to get a salvage or rebuilt title is ridiculous. Several years ago I had a deuce that caught on fire due to a rats nest in the engine compartment. The fire did a significant amount of damage, just under $10K. State Farm performed an evaluation and told me the truck was totaled. I...
According to reports I read, the driver was driving erratically prior to the accident and after hitting the trees was ejected from the Humvee so he was obviously not wearing a seatbelt. As Mogman stated, we have absolutly no idea what actually happened.
The fittings on the passenger side at the regulator were all corroded beyond any chance of salvage. I got the part numbers for each part, took measurements, and searched online for the parts in stainless. Most were quite easy to find, but I do remember that one fitting was very difficult to...
I purchased a length of 316 stainless steel 10 mm tubing and bent it to match the original. I also had to purchase some of the fittings that were toast. Every fitting I replaced was stainless as well. I wanted a permanent fix.
I went to the 3rd Armored Division Veterans annual reunion there a few years back. Very good museum. You can spend days there to see everything. I donated a lot of WWII stuff to the museum after I visited.
I had a similar issue with my M35A3 once. It turned out to be a bad battery. Most of the time it would fire right up and other times it was like an open circuit. One of the batteries would occasionally go open internally under heavy load. The lights, however, were always bright. Very...
I take the TM instruction to mean fill to the bottom of the round neck the cap screws on. Anyway, that is what I've been doing for the almost 14 years I've owned my M35A3 and I've never had any issues.
I have an M35A3 W/W and I love it. However, this truck is not a daily driver. I'm not sure why you would want it to be a daily driver. You are going to have poor mileage, tire wear and put a lot of mileage on the truck which means maintenance issues.
Rick, you can also purchase a Kill A Watt. They are not very expensive and will tell you the voltage and frequency. The On-board frequency meter on my 003 is fairly accurate, but I fine tune the frequency based on my Kill A Watt EZ unit. I plug it into the convenience outlet. I purchased my...
