Steel Soldiers now has a few new forums, read more about it at: New Munitions Forums!

The problem is really what I mentioned, there's no control over how people format their information. Some people enter "OH" or "Ohio" or "Adena, OH" or "Adena, OH". Heck, I could change my profile to say I live in Ohio, but that wouldn't be true either.
The best solution is to post in the...
I had a phone call and a few texts about this earlier today, but I've been working at a transmitter site and driving a "wheel chock" today. Ron was one of a kind. He was a wealth of MV knowledge and a asset to the community who helped either with this knowledge. Or by physically helping...
So there's already a member search.

The problem is, people don't always list their proper location. So it's a total mixed bag on what kind of result you'll get for that.
It is kind of unfair in a way to post feedback for a transaction that didn't happen here. But in light of the problematic nature I don't think it's uncalled for in this case. I hope I get a chance to stop having meetings to give them a call today. (Not that I carry any weight in getting them...
I will consider creating a new section. But I just am reluctant due to the history behind the CUCV/Deuce/5 ton sub forums. It always turns into people complaining about things not being where they're supposed to be.
I could grant moderator access to people that have offered for this new area.
Please vote for MV of the YEAR! Feel free to campaign in this thread, but please keep it here and not via PM.

Sadly, this isn't the first time I've heard negative dealings with this company. Although I'm surprised they have our site listed on their page. Please let me know the end result so I can know how to address it.
I wouldn't be opposed to creating another forum. But historically this always ends up being more complaints once it's happened. (Hot rod forums for example. We created them, then it turns into argument/debate on what belongs where.) Also it'd be nice to have someone experienced in moderation...
I really like this setup. Do you have any more info on the cylinder? Have a drawing for the plate? My PTO is already installed so it's not that easy to get measurements. But my cable is broken and I have to do mine by hand, which sucks. I'd even go as far as asking if I could buy one!
Dodge still provides a manual option behind the Cummins. Which boggles my mind why they'd not make this happen in the Jeep. Course the 2.8VM powered diesel Jeep with a manual has been a thing in the UK market for nearly a decade now.
The further away from the engine the longer it takes for the exhaust gasses to travel. Also the surface area of the exhaust will certainly lower the inlet temps into the turbo. A Turbo uses the thermal energy of the exhaust to spin, not just the velocity of the exhaust itself. Now to clarify...
Turbo lag doesn't also harm performance, having excess fueling and not enough air causes egt to soar. Which can harm the engine.
