Nothing to add to the exellent advice above..but can help (de-gaus!) your ear problem. Take ginko baloba and ginseng supplements regularly, It may well improve the situation. No side effects other than improved memory and joint articulation.
But be patient and consistant as this is a long term...
There's some real comrade assist going on over there, so very nice to see in action, good luck and sucess to you all. Would not like that happen to me in this (our present) weather, gales, torential rain cold..ugh!
HA! but London covers a huge area..and (rather) like L.A. etc. you can drive out a way and be in the middle of no where..like we are..nearest shops 6 miles. From home and barn a road 8 foot wide for 2 1/2 miles to a village road.
You will find the wreckers "complex" trucks..and once mastered are imensly satisfying to maintain drive handle, use and collect the complete recovery equiptment and also "make your mods and additions. good luck with YOUR new toy.
I have code3 mx7000 light bars on my trucks. the wrecker which has "all options" draws 180w. (at 15a Max,) though I only use the "front and side options" (obviously) in my application. A very usefull guide can be found here. I do not use relays, One switch for each function as required. and...
well..before "cutting down" I would very much like to obtain (and am searching) for a nice trailer pull to shows next year. Thier is literally nothing in this line in the U.K. at all. All you ever see is bits of light trailers or..handcarts!. The sort of trailer I Hope to find is pictured...
Light chains for travelling only.
In answer to your questions. The light chains are travelling only as I like the "look" and convenience when working. For lifting or towing I allways use (those just visible) 30ton chrome recovery chains. of couse SOME jobe are just TOO big to handle (see...
I allways like to have a run round the town over xmas, so this year I plan to take my U.S.Army Airforce ambulance. Especially as all my restoration on it is now complete.
With a collection its difficult to run up miles. So I have 400 miles on the deuce. 1200 miles on the M54 Camper. 300 miles on the wrecker. 500 on the Gammagoat. Ambulance 220 miles. M45 fire truck 200 miles. jeeps 500 miles. motorcycle (moto guzy) D.R. 110 miles.
Well I have been VERY fortunate to find an "apprentice" to enjoin the hobby. Who really does get stuck into his projects "ok try and do something with this?" says I.... (and) This was the reee-sult.!.
(and more to follow as he proceeds).
usefull addition
I find my holmes gear very usefull. and to swing through 360 degrees. simply cut off the (floor) stops at travel limit.(viewed at the rear lower monting of the crane gear) easy with an angle grinder.
well we met some interesting people last year..they came over from germany, and now visit me regularly here in the U.K.. It would be so good to see a group of Steel soldiers members at the war and peace show..
