Well I figured the deuce at 5.00 made the best progress out of the lot of them! No (exessive) reving banging sliding stopping and or .stopping. just (all) coolcalm and collected WELL under control togetherness. THAT'S the <mod (el)> to have.
I (also) carry air impact (type) sockets up to 1 5/16 in 3 drive types up to 1". Full wrench set. 3/8 up 1 5/16. fuel filters oil filters. brake fluid. 1" (and 1/2") drive air impact guns. (run from the rear glad hand).
SNAP! I have a warn on the front of my M45. with the remote also. It has the proper bumper extensions etc. so looks well and pulls only what it is supposed to.
A large shovel would be a nice way to go.....on the front of a buldozer! (or similar)..like triple C I would like to know what broke and how exactly..hope NO ONE was standing in the imediate vicinity when the breakage occurred though..santex works wonders with about the same danger.
Welcome to the site. Thats a very tidy looking truck, and quite some dedicated effort has gone into it's restoration. Once it's finished you (must) get another "thing green" and dive into the maddness.
Disconnect the switch. If the lights go out , then check for brake pedal adjustment. Check lights. If problem persists Test for travell and free play again relating this to sticking master cylider or air pack. let us know the outcome/ solution.
I second that..pictures of the whole setup please. It will be a very impressive outfit at parades, Doesn't seem like they have been in service 10 minutes! yet.
I modified my deuce to Big singles 1200x20 A.E.C. Millitant wheels by making adaptor plates. Flame cut, big lathe, drill pcd. Centre hole fitted exactly. looks well all 6 wheels run in line now.
Yep..you got it..That "O" ring has to be changed. also check the "knurled headed bolt" on the side of the H.H. they sometimes are torqued wrong and can drip.
We mad e "cabin" and fitted it out on the ZILL 131 made from 1/2 plyboard..when painted it looked fine and of course suited the truck as it was made "to fit"
Actually as most ALL speedos are set fast to prevent speeding, when you fit hagher gearing through wheels etc the TRUE (accurate actual) speed is the usually indicated.
