You CAN turn anything into anything if your determined!. Here are pictures of me pinching the radio (fully fitted camper)Body from off my Praga and grafting it onto my REO M54A2!. I like the look of the radio/ machine bodies on Russian trucks. SO, now I have the best of two worlds.(countries).
We have a deuce owner panicking over here, A/ because he doesn't know what BUD NUTS are, B/ he has USED the INNER WHEEL holding wheel nuts to bolt on SINGLE wheels . C/ Having simply REMOVED the OUTER WHEEL bolting that on with the orriginal inner long nuts.

If you have a master battery isolation switch turn it off. After the batteries cool down. Remove them. Have them checked. Then Check for a VEHICLE WIRING short circuit. You can test with a meter first. or with Everything switched off place 6/ or 12 volt accross the + and - WITH SMALL 24 VOLT...
That's a really nice looking truck! I agree with the colo' scheme..ALL mine are "subued" cammo which I think looks more (aggressive) impressive.
And just looks the part at shows etc. You will enjoy the experience of for sure.
you seem to be very experienced to do that trick..but then it does state (the tm) Never to roll back in forwards gear. or forward in reverse come to it.

Sometimes google maps are placed quite far back in time , so the stuff may have been cleared in fact though. A phone call to any local sevices etc might reveal helpfull local knowledge of the site.
I wonder why the American trucks were not fitted with diff locks?...If that had been fitted so, it would have crawled out unasissted on tickover no fuss. Ah-Lah Kraz mog etc. praga etc.

That plate is (supposed to be) welded to the underside of cab floor. When iv'e replaced the Hand Brake Cable on my deuces, It was so difficult to get at, We removed the spare wheel.
It is weld mounted at the appropriate angle of course. Not 90*
:ditto:Have you a smallish electric welder? well worth getting one if not. I have a new Electronic COVERTER welder. Exellent..and Small light and definately easir to use than the conventional mig welders. Its only about 24x10 inches and BEATS my HUGE mig (that weighs about 2 tons!!) all ways up...
