RE: Will These fit my 70 Duece?
The starter looks like the 2920-226-6545, which is one of the models used on the multifuel engine and the 60 amp alternator is correct also.....
Looking for an old post, I typed in the number of an instruction sheet, that I knew was in the post, PM-32333. The on-site search function came up with zero hits. When I did the same on Google, I got my post in one of the results....
Made some progress on the coolant heater.
Replaced the control valve with another that I was able to calibrate close to the specified flow rate.
Next, I went thru the starting procedure and could hear the flame catch after about 2 minutes. Good news it's running, however the flame detector...

The 6TN, 6TL, 6TMF etc, batteries have a higher reserve capacity than the common commercial replacements (twice what Optima has) and they have vents that permit under water operation to about 4 ft other than that, any two batteries will work fine for the deuce. Make sure they are identical...
Glad you guys had a good time! Being a Virginian myself, I feel a bit guilty about this, but my trucks are not prepped for a 700 mile roundtrip at this time...not to mention insurance and AAA?
Tell us more about your steering problem when you get a chance, Peecook, that's a new one.

Got the 356 bulbs from bulbdirect.com and cost me $6.30 for ten plus shipping...they put out more light than the 1829 types and the life expectancy isn't very long, so I'm keeping my extras.
LED type lights may be more complicated to regulate intensity wise.
