I worked on this a little today.
Made the mount for the hydraulic motor to drive the winch. Put the PTO on a few days ago. I think I'm going to try to find a rear accessory drive to put the pump at the rear. More room toward the rear. Anyone have one?

I wasn't sure of the factory 5 ton winch PTO could be taken apart and reversed. I searched and only found deuce ptos being reversed. The rear output add on is as much $$ as a new PTO. There is a lot more room toward the rear though.
Finally put the PTO on the trans. Sure do wish it faced rear. Not a lot of room to mount the hydraulic pump. Maybe I'll get the rear winch done this year!
I put this rally on the calendar but I still have to run it by the boss! I also still need to replace my axle boots so I can wheel the truck. The one tore on the way to the spring rally so I didn't take it wheeling.
Hopefully the weather is better than the spring rally!
Anyone know where to get door seals? I'd like to replace them before I install flooring. Haven't had much luck.
It's a 5/8" bulb seal for a t-track like a garage door and has rubber rope like soft top cord inside.
