Hi CARNAC, I secured a newly rebuilt M105A2 Cargo Trailer. The dataplate is lacking MANUF, Year of Manuf, and Reg #.
a. Serial Number (VIN number) -- PC03DA867
b. Registration Number -----nothing listed
c. NSN without dashes ----- 2330001418050
d. Where you bought it ----- JBLM (formerly Fort...
After much thought I finally came up with the decision to buy a M105A2 cargo trailer for this project. I actually just won this trailer exactly 17 minutes ago. I pondered a M200a1 w/some sort of bed on her but decided on this instead. The trailer in itself was made in 1985 with an unused brand...
Great work Harold!! I've got the exact same pintle and pintle adapter on my truck. Used it to pull my 7200 lb MEP-006A home with my 3/4 Ton Dodge Cummins from JBLM. I used a piece of 40,000 lb chain wrapped around the tow bracket to hook the safety chains upto. This whole hauling and backing...
OK I decided to not only contact my reps but to also contact the Rep who is sponsoring this bill. His response is as follows:
Dear Dr. Henderson:
Thank you for your recent email on HB 1933.
This bill addresses a problem with counterfeit or unidentifiable collector plates and law...
Thinking about it now. I guess a guy could put down a very small bead of RTV on one half. Let it dry then assemble. Essentially the bead would act as a pretty good gasket.
It took a couple years. My persistence got turned up after I brought the 109 home. I gave him an offer that he finally didn't refuse -or- he just got tired of me asking about it;-)
Hey guys this question has been churning in my head for a few months now. I bought a M939 Battery Relocation Kit for my M109A3 project. I'm going to mount it in the van for my battery bank. Anyways, I have never seen this particular kit on a 900 series 5 ton. Does anyone have a pic of where...
Good question, thanks for bringing it up. I too was looking a couple months ago. Then just decided to use some silicone grease. Was going to use RTV but figured it would be tough to get her open again.
WOW!!! I had no idea that's what she looked like in the before life. Talk about an ugly duckling turning into a beautiful dove. Those before and after pics are a definate inspiration to anyone tackling a restore/transformation project....did I say WOW?
Hmm, just went out into the garage to look for the cover....not sure where I put that thing. If it's where I think it is, I won't be able to get to it until I get that MEP-006a moved out of the way
Good to have two deuces. Never know when you may need to tow one home. Couldn't imagine what a tow bill would be if you had to call a company. Good insurance to have two I always say
outstanding! Glad your recovery went well. Hmm USAF deuces? Are they the late model ones with the split brake circuits? Looks like you scored some great trucks
