Very common problem with most trailers of this type. The M200A1 had it bad. It was rare we ever got one apart without replacing the lunette and hardware.

But you still have the rust problem in the tank. It may not get larger then the patch, but rust in the tank means the fuel is not clean.

After the motor Sergeant made me remove, charge, and replace the batteries in our M813 a few times, I made a real effort to learn how to correctly use the three lever switch. Perhaps some "Extra Training" is needed. I still know how it works, and have not seen one since 2010.
