Spin- on fuel filter for M813?

The fleetguard is prefect for a nhc. The nhc250 can require almost twice the fuel that a ld465 deuce will. The deuce has help with an in tank pump, while the 5ton only has the pt pump on the engine to suck the fuel from the tanks. Any restriction can cause lower mpg and we're already in the...

Spin- on fuel filter for M813?

Wix 24309 and 24770 are popular filter bases to add on. 24309 takes the 1"-12 filters and 24770 takes the 1"-14 filters. I guess it depends on what filter you want to use. Baldwin makes a base that has the o-ring type fittings the stock filter uses. The stock m809 filter is a decent filter/water...

Looking for some advice on a hyd pump for a snow plow set up.

My current plow hydraulics are ran off a electric power pac. When I find a pto for my truck, I have a parker P20 pump to install. Most of the older plow tricks at work use a p20 or similar pump. It runs the plow, dump body, and salt spreader. Cast iron gear pumps last almost forever and are...

Anyone have the part numbers for the nylon hinge bushings that OD Iron use to sell? Devilman had a write up that had the part numbers but I guess it didn't make it to the new site. Pic here http://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthread.php?12684-Door-Hinge-pins I've started painting and I would like...

    Exterior Latex/Acrylic House Paints

I primed with rusty metal primer a few days ago and when I got home from work yesterday my wife had the green pretty much done. I had to school the home depot rep on federal standard paint. But she seemed intrigued and happily mixed my paint. Didn't do the inside, used about half a gallon. This...

    Air Cleaner Modifications

Our engines, without a turbo, require 900-1000 cfm. A turbo engine can require 1500+ cfm. I don't think the stock air filter is up to the task of a turbo.

    Air Cleaner Modifications

I think your right, that filter should flow better than stock. But I'm not sure if it will filter as good as it needs to. It is designed to be used with an inner secondary filter. Wix 46664 flows about 1000 cfm More modern turbo'd 855's use a filter that flows about 1500 cfm I know our engines...

My Crew Cab 4x4 Deuce Build

I'm looking forward to your build. I can't remember how far away you are, but if you need any help let me know. Since your keeping it full length, you could move the transfer case back a few inches and use the drive shaft from between the tandems. That would leave room for an 18 speed double...

Jeep Seat & Bench for M35

Very nice. I've always wanted to put better seats in my trucks and thought about using the same seats as you. Now I know they fit and look great. Jeep seats are easy to find seat covers for. I like the waterproof neoprene because I'm too lazy to put the top back on when it rains! Good work 59apache.

Water fording kit for 5 Ton

The intake was put up high to keep the dust out, desert conditions are hard on stuff. The air filter is the same from the 60's m809 series. I've heard the hmmwv wheel o rings make good air cleaner seals. To check your seal, pour some oil into the air cleaner and seal it up, if it leaks out you...
