Yes time is an issue, my weekends usually get more stuff packed into them than the entire week! I guess I'll find a synchro and try to pull the input shaft out without removing the entire t-case. Probably put some bearings in it too. Would like to get this done before the Tractor pull in April...
The linkage is adjusted right. It gets gear to gear tooth contact going into low. It's like trying to put the trans in 1st or reverse before you stop. The mount doesn't seem to move any. and the shifter is about 2 inches from the floor when in the low detent. The position of the shifter handle...
My transfer case was acting up a few months ago and I finally got around to checking it out. Tractor pull is coming up! So it started kicking out of low and I didn't bother with it. Too cold outside. So I tried it again the other day and it wouldn't come out of Hi. I pulled the seat and floor...
I'll e-mail the president of the Antique Tractor Club tonight when I get home from work. As I said before I pulled last year at the April event. I plan to be there in April again this year. Atleast now I have tags on my truck and don't have to worry about the local leo. I will also have a...
I think I used low 2nd, front engaged. Went until I spun all 10. Probably would have helped to have some weight in the back. Would be neat to see the difference with duels over singles and maybe even a bob too!

I know some of you have repainted your trucks, and I am looking to do the same. So what's a good amount to buy to cover an entire m35a2 with one color of primer and carc?:?:
I wish I could make it, Wife has gotta work and I can't take my 9 month old in the Deuce yet! We'll have to do something like this every month and pick different places and times.
Your exactly right, The machines that I work on that had 466's in them were old wore out and always needing work. They were actually labeled as Detroit Series 40's. Old Terex TS14's, duel 466's.
The new ones have Cummins 5.9's
Just some trivia but I once started a 466 17° out of time. I personally don't like the 466 much over the Cat but had one run with no oil pressure for a good week or so. The pickup tube had come loose from the front cover. Just a note, make sure you torque your mount bolts before the pickup tube...
What I was trying to do was find the right rod stock so that anyone here could buy it and hack saw off the appropriate length and drill a couple of cotter holes in it. I think the 2024 Aluminum in a T3,T4,or T361 would be almost exactly what the Gi issue ones are. And the Gi ones are about 9/32"...
No that's not what I meant. I will not use a bolt but was going to try to use 5/16" 2024 T3 Aluminum round rod instead of the hard to find , no one will call me back about, oem size!
