Technically speaking, Idaho Motor Pool is on Interstate 84, (not 95) and located at exit #3. Alex's place is right up against the interstate, you cannot miss it. It'll be the place with about 30 dueces and other related rigs. He has, or has connections to find, whatever you might need. Alex is...
Ahhhh, another Idaho member. I think we are up to three or so. Welcome. I live in Caldwell. If you need anything close, let me know. Alex and I are good buddies (over at Idaho Motor Pool-He's been in a couple of my weddings.).
There are a bunch of MV's in your area, for some reason it's tough...
WELCOME, fellow Idahoan. You could probably get ANYTHING you need for that at Idaho Motor Pool (Google it). Alex is a good guy, tons of knowledge and tons of parts.
I am seeing a pattern here...State Farm.
I, too, have State Farm on all my MV's. I think it's about $70 a year. Minor (relatively speaking) restrictions such as parades and special events only, must be restored to look "original". Fit's my use prefectly. As does the price.
Kinda strange...
After reading, studying, buying, and learning a bunch about Goats, I saw something today I have never seen or even heard of before. Alex at IMP got a Goat in the other day. He called me and want to come look it over. I noticed a box (about 4 inches wide, 8 inches tall, and 3 inches deep) bolted...
That is Alex's drag racing British FV. One year at our MV meet we raced it against an M114. iI don't remember which one won. I have driven that one a gaggle of times.(wrong-hand drive is strange!)
I live 20 minutes down the interstate from there ( towards Boise) . You should have stopped...
I was born on the southside of Chicago (124th and Michigan) about a half century ago. I was raised around the Tinley Park and later the entire Peoria area.
Nice place to be FROM!
I have been told it is the best thing to put into a diesel that is probably going to sit a spell. Long term fuel preservative, much like Stabil, only for diesel. Keeps the cheesy cud from growing.
NOW,for a semi-related dumb question. Is there anything I can SAFELY use to un-gunk the carbs on a...
Idaho is standing beside you in this. We don't have NEAR the problems I hear about in the eastern U.S. That being said, this must be addressed and stopped. As Barney Fife would have said "nip it in the bud!".
Having taken on city hall several times over the years, I have learned, in your...
A fellow deputy and I dropped off a DRMO helicopter we had at Hill AFB. We were in civilian clothes, but had our badges and id's on (in plain view). They had us open up everything (hood, coolers, etc) before we went inside the guardshack with our DRMO paperwork. They took about 10-15 minutes...
Getting back to the original question of the M113 and the M114 being related..............they are!
Both are always owned by someone with copious amounts of MONEY.
Well worth the money ($350, I think was the price), based on the photos provided. You should be able to find a rear panel and get it welded in. As far as the two different lights usually found on M416's, find a picture of a rear of an M151 (or M151A1) , and then find a picture of the rear of an...
Alex, the owner/operator of Idaho Motor Pool is getting a nice Goat in very soon. Call him at 208-452-5335. I saw it a few years ago, it looked real good then, no reason it shouldn't still be. Tell him Bill sent ya. He won't do ya wrong. He is located in Fruitland, Idaho, on the border of...
I remember seeing a bunch of GI suburbans at Mountain Home Air base, as well as Gowen Field (Boise Idaho) during the 80's and early 90's. The AF ones were usually painted blue, the ones at Gowen were almost always plain OD, (a few I remember were tan). They had the GI front ends, shackles...
