Wayne, you may be referring to the 25 amp regulator, I think the issue here is the "Protective Control Box". This box contains the starter relay (normally a separate item), the reverse polarity protection relay and some control circuitry, which monitors the engine oil pressure (lock-out switch)...

Re: RE: Push button light switch You can always provide a backup circuit by installing a separte override switch for the headlights. I overloaded the built-in circuit breaker one time and it's no fun driving without any lights at all. I made sure it wouldn't happen again. :-)

David Doyle can tell you all about this, but if you want the Vietnam era OD semi gloss, Aervoe 24084 (997B) is almost a perfect match..... Think FS595A or FS595B.

If mounted side by side on the deuce, the side panel of the hood couldn't be laid down.

There are different grades of Nylon tubing, check McMasters for spec. Like Lee stated "Nylon 11" or brakeline tubing would be best, cheaper than an oil gauge kit also....

Here are details of my "warning" light from an M543 wrecker. The light iteslf is missing, but the base is the swivel type.

I have the exhaust diverter valve if that is something you will be looking for....it's from an M50A3 water tanker.
