RE: Re: RE: who
Make sure you bleed the air out of your lines and filters after changing anything. It's the little valve on top of the secondary/final filter bracket. Air in the system will shut you down at low rpms....you probably did this, but may be worth mentioning anyway...
If you have the lifting devices (crane, jacks etc), swapping beds would be easier IMHO.
Figure $500 to $1,000 for a complete winch with drive shaft, control linkages and pto....
I'm aware of my neglect of this thread, being a Virginian and all, but it's a lot of driving, not much different from an Aberdeen road trip, close to 900 miles total.
AND there is this 8x8 sitting in my yard BETWEEN the deuce and the house and 99% of my MV attention has stopped there since its...
There is really only one single reason for doing anything to veggie oil, a perfectly good fuel by itself and that is to lower its viscosity. You can make "biodiesel" from it or mix any number of concoctions with it, but the bottom line is that the viscosity must be lowered to make it useful at...
Hey Andy, if you are talking about my glycerine supply, it's all but gone, I use it as a fire starter a little at a time.
Nowadays I try to use the veggie oil just by filtering it and only prepare biodiesel from the really "bad" WVO, so not much glycerine any longer.....
maybe in a couple of...
This is not for the M52, but the components are generally the same.
You will need the control box, cableing, ducting, fuel pump and fuel filter.
Don't know any one place for the parts, but keep your eyes open, they pop up here and there....
IP=Injection Pump
Coking=residue from incomplete combustion. Cold veggie oil will eventually coke the injectors, therefore, heat the fuel or use in smaller proportion, say less than 20% with the regular diesel or kerosene.
The exhaust manifold is divided before the turbo and placing one probe in each section offers the opportunity to monitor the performance of the injectors by comparing the front three with the back three.....
FWIW, mounting a probe before the turbo will give you faster response time also...
With so many posts per day, I think having multiple front pages would be a good thing. "Accessing the forrum" can be very time consuming when looking for a day-old post.....
