So, I did Tag & Title on Buck Jones Friday. Super simple. I had the GP documentation, but needed the invoice. I was able to pull it from GP's site after a couple tries and emailed it to the wonderful worker. And done. Since I'm NOT going for a plate right now, I didn't do insurance or...
Rick, I missed this initially. I am sorry to hear about the passing of your wife and your stroke, but very happy to hear that you are recovering. You are a huge asset to the community and look forward to ordering soon. Best wishes!
"Hood" numbers on a HMMWV are/were an USAF thing. They have their registration number there. You have the equivalent for the Army ( NG4LWL ) But until the last decade or so that wasn't usually on the outside of the vehicle, it was normally on the inside of the A-pillar by the driver's left...

the one we had that supposedly worked had a larger antenna base than juan's photos. But the bolt pattern on top of the fender looks to be the exact pattern of the base and amp. I know there was a whole issue...
Harris VHF radio set.
They usually mounted to either the transmission tunnel or the rear fender top. and the antenna was side mounted because it was super long (think old whip antenna length) and had to be tied down when not in use. It did not use the standard SINCGARS antenna.
