RE: Loss of fuel MPG over time, what
Black smoke is wasted fuel....not enough air to completely combust the fuel being put into the cylinder. Was it after you put the Banks kit on that the mileage went in the toilet? I agree with ygmir, When the switch from lsd to ulsd, I noticed about a 1 mpg...
Take the cover off the pump where the shut off cable goes into it. Make sure the lever inside is all the way forward. If it is, do the plug thing in the top of the pump head. If it's stuck, maybe a bit Marvel Mystery Oil will work to un stick it.
RE: Re: RE: Gasser Tune Up
Tyler, you may have had some difficulties, but that thing is a runner! If it runs bad, i'd like to see it when it is running good. It will run circles around the multi.
The plate with the "C" on it holds the numbers on. The bar on the right of the plate goes across the back, on the back side of the grill. Woops, the mount description is for a deuce...wasn't paying attention to what forum this was in.
Depends on which w-end Chuck pics. The last two were in conflict with my owners plans, so they were a no go. I have already asked...AHEM...I mean told her, that I am leaving for the w-end sometime in June
OK, Stroddard Valley, Friday the 29th of Feb. I can do that! When can youse guys leave? I figure I can p/u Jake at around 1200 and head out. That should put me at the 210/15 at around 1300-1330. It's gettin' dark later too, so we could be there by 1530 at the latest. Plenty o time to pitch a...
The filters on the engine are pressurized. You won't suck air, you'll have a fuel leak. Are you sure there's fuel at the injectors? It should squirt pretty hard and make a mess. Make sure the shut off linkage on the pump is all the way in. If it's in, try taking the plug out of the center of the...
Forgot to say that it's a free , as in no fee asked for, no matter how many vehicles or people you have. Chuck will not ask for dollars. He puts out about $500. for the food and band and such.
Remember, a convoy is only as fast as it's slowest vehicle. :driver: We will hang with ya. Besides, when the 105 is full of wood and fuel, i'm kinda slow up the hills too! Dunno obout the location, djfreema and I have been chatting. I fired off a map of where we went last time. Give him a bit...
There is a guy in the MV club who hosts an event on his property in Tehachapi, Ca. This will be the 4th year he will do it. He has 20 acres, has a band that does 60's and 70's rock, does the bbq food thing, live fire on his range...yes, you can bring your personal items..run by a ret. U.S. Army...
ems4ty..Tyler has a gasser. I have to say, I was quite surprised how quiet and how well it ran on the last trip to the dez. You should have seen the stuff he went up, even w/o a working front axle!
