    "OPPS" M923 meets HONDA...

I'm curious about a windshield assy I picked up today. It is about 10-12 inches wider than my deuces windshield assy. Does this fit a 900 series truck? It was integrated defrost blades on the frame itself. When I picked it up today I thought the windows were a bit wider than what I was used to...

How fast do you drive your Deuce?

I'm a 45 MPH kind of guy. When I'm in my deuce, I'm usually not in any hurry to get anywhere. Plus it's a MV, people expect me to go slow:wink: If I were in a hurry then I'd ditch the deuce and jump in my turbo'd Jetta GLI:wink:

    Opinions wanted Emergency kits

PB blaster is a deep penetrating spray to free up old bolts etc. Air compressor wrenches are available from some fellow SS. Check out the classifieds. You can get away without one but life is much easier with one

    Opinions wanted Emergency kits

Ok ready? Spare fuel filters (all 3), spare accelerator pedal spring, spare brake/clutch spring, spare intank fuel pump fuses, geared lug nut wrench for those rears, air compressor wrench for changing the belt, spare belts, DOT 5 brake fluid, 1 gallon 15/40 oil, RTV to plug those little leaks...

    Need a wiper motor

LOL, not laughing at you but I kind of doubt anyone has any spares. Post pesky things like to go out. I have 3 deuces. Every one of those three has one bad wiper motor in them. No joke, all the passenger side ones are in-op. If by chance someone does have extras that they "want to get rid of"...

    Need fuel help A.S.A.P

Sounds like your intank fuel pump went out on your or the fuse blew. Have you tried flipping on the accessory switch, walking over to your fuel tank and putting your hand over the intank pump assy? You should feel a vibration or even hear the pump. If you get nothing then check the fuse. If the...

    my new m105 with box!

You can use the trailer's tailgate to lock the door. Just put a padlock or two on rings used to hold the tailgate up and you're good to go

    my new m105 with box!

Unfortunately that lovely line of trucks are all FMS Freeze trucks. Sorry guys they will not be on GL anytime soon. Some are headed to Cambodia, Morocco, Malaysia, Venezuela, etc. The deuces have been there for almost 12 months with no movement. You're lucky those DRMO guys didn't storm out and...

Found lots of MVs and Trailers Must sell in 60 days Half Track etc

Outstanding. This just reminded me of a farm nearby w/a gamma goat stuck out in the middle of a field. The guy has pallets of green stuff all over the place and trailers. Hmm, I think I better see if there's anything worth salvaging.

PNW-2009-First Annual Chehalis River Valley MV Convoy

Uh well Maurice not too good right now. Been pulling OT and the weather has been too outstanding to spent it inside. I'm also trying to figure out the movie making software....I'm kind of at my whits end with it. I'm still trying:wink:

    dismantling a running deuce

Uh common sense would tell me to replace broken parts and keep the truck. Do you throw away the engine b/c you need an oil change:roll: I've seen trannies for $125-300

    Deuce Paint?

Yes repaint with CARC paint (Sherwin-Williams is pretty good stuff) or CARC-subsitute made by Gillespie (too glossy) which is available through RAPCO.com. CARC has that great dull military finish but the older CARC does tend to fade pretty good. Definately avoid the Krylon Camouflage brand sold...

    Ocd

If all of a sudden no one in your neighborhood speak to you, no worries:wink: Most of all my neighbors think I'm storing the MV for the gov't. No joke, my neighbor approached me very timidly and asked why the gov't was storing the 3 deuces at my house. I was very tempted to run with that...

Who has the Highest Mileage Deuce?

Definately would not depend on the gauges. One thing I remember about my 1971 GPD M35A2. It had 320 hours on the dial when I recovered her from FT Lewis. When I went to sell it had 310 hours. I watched it for awhile during idle and noticed the hours were decreasing rather than increasing. Oh...
