Hello Gents
Due to the last out of the blue deal with my Fuel pump got me thinking ( No it don't hurt yet)
I have been off roading in the Ca. deserts for over 20 years now in different jeep and early bronco clubs. And in my rig i always carried spare stuff. Dist cap and rotor, starter, alt, fuel pump gaskets rtv belts some hoses hose repair kits tire repair kits elect repair stuff wire spring shackles u-joints J.B. weld for temp repairs sand paper and acetone to clean for the J.B. weld oil and antifreeze. sounds like a lot of crap for a little jeep but it all crams in somewhere nicely and in a couple instances got me or a member of our group home.
I will be taking my Deuce 20 to 40 miles out in the desert same places we took our jeeps would hate to end up with something like a fuel pump go out .
So my question is what would be your take along emergency kit for the Deuce
I guess I am also trying to ask what small stuff normally craps out that you can't limp home on and need to fix in the field.
Thanks Jerry
