Agree Lee, but connectors and adapters are used. Coiling the wires should have no effect.

Patrick, measuring the pressure drop across D-man's filter (1792XD) at first it reads about 9 psi, after oil is warmed to about 140 deg, the drop stays around 6 psi.

Hey Cabell, you haven't told us much about this project, are you up and running now or is it experimental?

A typical one is shown here. Alcohol vapor is drawn in with fresh air for the compressed air system. Alcohol from the bottle mixes with any water that may be present and prevents the formation of ice.
