Looking for M1078A1 ABS troubleshooting guide

J1939 will not blink unless you are actually communicating on the bus with that protocol. It is perfectly normal for the adapter when simply powered with no communication to only blink J1708. The problem here is that you have picked the wrong adapter, you have selected a DPA4 Plus USB, when...

Looking for M1078A1 ABS troubleshooting guide

The reason I didn't suggest a sensor to check, is because that is a waste of time. Let me ask you this question. If your ABS ECU is complaining that you have a faulted ABS Modulator (and you don't know because you haven't pulled codes), what is the point of messing with the wheel sensors...

Looking for M1078A1 ABS troubleshooting guide

Not trying to be a jerk but I see this theme on the forum over and over and over. "I am going to trouble-shoot a completely computerized system, without using the diagnostics in the computer" How much sense does that make? Right now you could buy this on ebay and have the means to interface...

this looks to be the one you need, maybe you can beat em up on the price? https://www.ebay.com/itm/265263943911 I am pretty sure the gray connector on that cable can be used to diagnose the ABS in your M1082

ECO Hubs Who needs 3:07 gears?

The pac brake works just fine for me with the ECO hubs. Main difference is It Punks out a little sooner than it used to as 3rd gear is faster than it used to be. So where I feel like it used to stay on down to below 20mph, now it’s pretty much done for by 30-35ish. It would be great if it could...

looks legit… so your truck has a type 2 green j1939 connector? My understanding was those went on 500kbps CAN bus vehicles 2016 and newer?

Are you sure you got a genuine unit? Amazon and eBay are rife with cheap Chinese knockoffs. Here are pictures of my genuine DPA 3 Plus and DPA 4 Plus and both of them have 9Pin connectors with 2 smaller pins. Both have been plugged up to multiple military trucks with no need for adapters. I...

    Irish Spring soap (Rodent Deterrent)

Barn-cats barely fed is the only thing that works for me. They are autonomous rodent killing machines. They even annihilate the pocket gophers. They like to leave their skulls with just the cheek-meat and whiskers on for some reason.

ECO Hubs Who needs 3:07 gears?

I have seen multiple people including myself report this specific issue after the ECO hubs install. I have been debating tearing all my CTIS hoses and wheel valves off to see if that makes a difference. I have balance beads in my wheels that I installed before the ECO hubs install, but I...

    CTIS

So the quick answer to this is yes, the system will eventually equalize. What will happen though is that during the check cycle, the CTIS controller will see pressure dropping as the higher PSI tires inflate the lower PSI tire and the system will throw a 4 light blink code to indicate the tire...

    CTIS

That might indicate that the vent line itself is plugged, like from mud wasps or something.. Leave that vent line disconnected at the PCU and see if it behaves normally. If so, clogged vent line is likely your issue, newer units just vent right under the kick-panel, probably due to this issue...

ECO Hubs Who needs 3:07 gears?

I can’t say for sure since I don’t have the Wabco software but I did verify the CTIS gets the updated speed from the data bus, so I would bet the ABS does too if it needs it. In any case since my ECO hub install, it hasn’t thrown any codes.

ECO Hubs Who needs 3:07 gears?

In CAT ET just multiply the old PPM setting by 0.5 and your speedo will be good to go. I wouldn’t waste time trying to reset the transmission shift points. I never did it on mine and it figured it out real quick.
