So you don't already have a pintle adapter? Or the arm between the shield and adapter?
Are you planning on making them?
Why not just buy them?
If making them you can make it what ever size you want.
They are a different pattern.
Sorry I thought you had those measurements on the drawing that was posted.
3-1/2 inches center to center height wise.
5-1/2 inches center to center width wise.
3/8" bolts
Never seen one of those before.
From the antenna protector above the antenna hole your truck was a TOW variant.
A later variant then mine.
Perhaps they stowed a ground tripod on that.
My guess would be the Camo netting and support poles.
I have to ask , you did try to reset it first before you cut it out of the system?
Why not just stick with the factory set up?
Why did it trip or blow?
I thought the tripod mounted inside.
My tailgate just had loops mounted directly to it.
Tripod mounting plate was attached directly to side of left fender well.
Locking ring that attached T&E to tripod head held tripod in place.
I've seen camo netting attached to rear tailgate using footman...
I removed mine with a cordless Milwaukee multi tool.
I used a worn-out blade with no teeth left on it.
it was like a puddy knife.
Made short work out of it. might need some ear protection but other than that it was like shearing a sheep.

I always ask the same questions when I see these posts.
What are your plans for the HMMWV.
Are you going to restore it or mod it into something else.
You mention you want a slant back.
do you want it to have a functional turret in it?
If not, then you could roll the dice and wait for something...
