my Kubota RTV 900 and Grasshopper 725d both with D902 engines are no where near as quiet as this thing kinda thought maybe it wasnt running right at first. The 1040 although still quiet is still much louder than this unit.
So i bought this unit with only the thought that i might get a good engine and parts for sale, but as of today we have a runner. New starter and batteries are in and she fired right up. DCS faults and maintenance items have been cleared, producing power and charging batteries. This unit even...
I own 8 pieces of equipment with Kubota engines. Aluminum heads do not like to get hot keep it running at 165 is best bet any debris on the radiator and it will creep up fast
Summit Racing can order the starter from factory direct over a month out, Area Diesel advertises it but they have no idea when they would receive one from their vendor, Would not recommend the Ebay listed ones look at seller feed back.
I have a new alternator coming and will update once it comes in. Just FYI it was not the ones for sale on EBAY that guy wants too much for beat up surplus units that have never been tested and no warranty and seems like someone i would not want to deal with after emails back and forth and...
not likely no fluids or oil filter were on the unit, pretty sure it was put away like this. sad thing is that according to how many year stamps for storage are on it. it was probably still under warranty when put away and could have been fixed.
Just off the top of my head though say one of our soldiers tried to push the dead crank switch while the machine was running although it would shut the engine down when you toggle the switch i think the scenario that the Mahle page describes could be obtained.
If you scroll it does have an english version so i was able to read the explanation. I guess i will be looking at the TM for a RELAY to make sure thats not faulty before fixing or putting in a new starter.
That MS251 but not under iskra came up and i found it on Area Diesels website earlier today. when i called they said the supplier has no date of when they would be in stock and that was at $400. Might have to call Summit to see if that date is realistic
Folks when i say nothing but quality lets just look at the pictures. I want to have a few words with the person who put that 1/2 inch of silicone covering the 2 nuts on the back. It took a 15mm crows foot to get the first nut holding the wire off. the second one i ended up with a 5/8 with...
I would advise not trying to work on all 3 at one time. Read the TM's and figure out which one has the best chance of working and harvest parts from the others. Sometimes it works out that parts are just missing other times its a bad sign.
I have a AMMPS 1030 with 188 hours on the clock. bought as a non-runner drained of fluids, oil filter missing. and came with the large solargizer. so far i have
-pulled the batteries, installed new ones 51r
-installed oil filter
-filled with oil, coolant
-checked air filter
-Shutoff all the...
I did not order the above alternator, luckily i found a new correct alternator so i will be going with that. I will however keep searching for parts for the broken alternator so i have a spare on the shelf.
I have made several post with part numbers and terminology from the TM so no need to discuss further. I did after looking at the parts break down realize the stabilizer bushings are what had been put in place of the correct parts that consist of these
