I thought it was pretty easy. maybe because i had the sway bar swung out of the way. I had more trouble with those 3 little lights across the back than i did with that sway bar. i put one washer in slid the bolt in and then from the top slid the other washer on the other side and i could angle...
Also you posted in another post that this generator was blowing out the seal on the oil filter. Keep your threads together gets confusing trying to diagnose in 2 different threads.
nothing like almost 2 months of staring at the truck wanting it to fix itself. Well today the weather was 70 degrees, low humidity, clouds blocking the sun, wife was available and willing to hand me stuff, and i had the right tools. Pulled the rear sway bar off and rolled it down out of the...
I bought a 2012 New never in service from GP 2 years ago with 5 hours for $4500 and for not much more you could buy a AMMPS 1040 if your willing to go with new technology. In Texas there are a lot of 803a's selling lately that would be a much better buy than this. Even if a good guy like Lite...
So not having much luck in finding readily available parts so i borrowed one from an 803a but things have not gone well with the 802a and i would rather shift gears and go on to the 803a without switching parts back. here is an alternator i found looks like mounting bolts. and wire size and...
Already tried that as explained in the beginning, and yes the air line is plugged in. even tried a different fill nozzle, and ran a piece of mig wire through the hole
Feeling pretty dumb asking this question, but i have a m1102 generator trailer that i got back in december. tire was low so i aired it up before towing home. Trailer has been sitting and so the tire lost air. i went to fill it up with air today and could not get air in. I pulled the valve...
I know this is a 3 year old thread but man this helps me a lot. the Datcon gauges are getting too pricey, amazon has the faria gauge on sale and the adapter
looks like it just broke off two wires are still soldered together but not connected to the diode. a little back story on this unit. When being delivered the driver was backing into my drive and had to abruptly drive forward to get out of the way of a grain truck that was not paying...
I have a 802a that was has a tier2 reset in 2012 with 24 hours rebuild tag on the alternator, but this thing drains batteries over night. After reading here realized its a problem with the alternator draining the battery. pulled the alternator off tonight and i found 2 wires no longer...
I do not have a comment on the habitat part but what a trip that will be all the way back to alaska. I am 13 months into a truck that was a 1997 with 3500 miles and I still am not prepared to go outside of a 20 mile radius because of all of the little stuff it takes to bring these trucks back...
My problem is that once i got the first 803a i needed to try others. when you drive by it looks like a military lay down yard. M1078, 4 military containers, and so many generators between 2kw, 5kw, 10kw that we are ready for the Zombie apocalypse.
