Well you can probably make one fairly easily.
heavy wall pipe slightly smaller diameter than the ujoint bearing holes in the yoke.
nut and bolt combination where the nut can be inserted into the pipe(thread passage perpendicular to the pipe length, but cannot rotate in that orientation...
On the back side of that connector, is there one or 2 wires crimped into the back of the pin 6 and 12 locations?. It could have been that the jumper was hardwired on the back side of the Plug and loops out into the harness and back. so production only has to make one type harness, then the...
Oh, they changed that function from K52 on the A0 to K29 in PDM#1 on the A1R(sheet 20 and 21 in the diagram). For the most part the basic wiring is VERY similar from A0-A1-A1R with only a few exceptions, this is one of them:)
I suspect somewhere you will find P913 under the pax dash, forward...
Dammit, get outta my head!
I don't see an issue with him putting in the fuse but it will probably just get him an ABS light, and a more pressing need to get intimate with some software to figure it out...
You pretty much gotta pull the steering wheel to lift out the dash, and even then it is not that easy:)
If it returns cleanly from full pedal to idle pedal, it is probably not a lube issue. someone may have swapped out springs down at the governor...
112 b to d is just across the control solenoid coil in the PCU manifold, but that wouldn't effect the unit not powering up, and certainly would not effect power available at pin 111-E... If you don't have a CTIS switch in your truck, the power should go right from CB40 J111. If it was supposed...
Get stronger:)
No electronics on an A0, so NO swapping ... All mechanical diesel. Pedal pulls a rod, rod pulls a lever, other end of lever pulls a throttle cable. Cable down to top of engine pulls a governor speed control block between the low speed stop and high speed stop screws. There...
The power on 111 G is used by the controller for the CTIS overspeed indication in the idiot panel. It comes from K52 and will go away if you select blackout lighting on your main light switch. keeps CTIS from violating light discipline:)
You need to troubleshoot power from 111 E back to CB40...
The regulator looking thing is the air brake protection valve. Works like a CTIS wheel valve. Halts flow when wet tank drops to ~85PSI.
take it apart and clean and inspect and or replace the rubber disc…
1323 is a high voltage fault(over 35V). Only that code in the D1 thru D5 memory locations? You use mode to step thru the 5 memory locations once in diagnostic mode(both arrows)…
They do have TPS and it does play a large part in shifting. On the A0 it us a standalone unit on top of the...
Well that additional alt load is only a backup for the 1600W solar on the roof anyway. I don’t expect it will be used much… Backup? we don’t need no stinking backup:) Thats what the house batteries are for, same as in many RV and marine configurations…
My main point is that 2800W is actually...
yep, lots of ways to do this! But by my observations, surplus supply has always been hit and miss, and not nearly as good a deal as it used to be especially as more people(hike the HumVee) have gotten into the LMTV arena. This is especially true when it comes to alternators it seems. In line...
or a larger single volt alt... I would caution against overthinking this, that's what S&S did instead of critically thinking about it in the first place...
The dual vlts are only really used by the military, and the only thing that needs 12 on the vehicle is the lighting, and that's maybe 25A...
You could but it would then be doing what the alt already does(balanced charging), and would not really be reducing the 12v load applied directly to the alt which is the reason for this whole escapade isn't it?
