Need help identifying a part for my LMTV or if I should even be trying to repair it at this point.

The two large lugs look like the went to the slave cable but I thought A1’s had the battery disconnect box there.

Missing Link (a leaf spring shackle providing more articluation)

I saw that, it would be a fun project to build an LMTV into a real flex machine.

ECO Hubs Off Road on our M1078A1

Great info, I also am a Jeep rock crawler old school, started back in 1995. Don’t care to do the rock bouncing racing up everything. Like you I have plenty of seat time in the jeep with 4:1 transfer case and 4:88 gears. I wish I would’ve got some seat time in my LMTV before I converted into the...

ECO Hubs Off Road on our M1078A1

Great video! Would loved to seen two trucks one with eco hubs and one with highway/ 3.07 gears. I’m curious if the 3.07 would require less braking while negotiating the down hill areas. All that on and off braking worries me with air brakes getting too low of pressure causing problems. I do like...

I received the PCU rebuild kit, super easy to rebuild put a little oring silicone lubricant on everything...

    CTIS 5 flashing lights

The Diagnostic cable and software should be here today but the PCU rebuilt kit won’t be here till next week. While waiting to receive the cable to connect to the computer I pulled the PCU out. Took it apart nothing crazy, looked clean. But decided to find enough o-rings at the local hardware...

    Replacing the tires

I’ve always kept two 3/4” pipes aluminum pipes in the tool box you can lift and align the tires. The aluminum won’t damage your threads. But recently made a couple new tools what a game changer with the idea of putting my new aluminum wheels on without damaging them, or the paint. Made a large...

Taking LMTV home | 1200mi road trip TX to NC

When my truck was original I would disconnect the CTIS so I could put 85 psi in the front tires and 60 in the rear unloaded. The tires did much better and keep checking tire pressures. Also keep an eye under the engine for new oil leaks or old ones getting worse. Check hub temperatures after...
