My what a long truck you have...:)
Eco hubs will fix the fan cycling every 5 minutes on the highway. Driving a truck above peak torque RPM is like driving with an exhaust brake on. you burn a ton of extra fuel overcoming pumping losses at high RPM that does nothing extra to propel the truck...
3.90 is closer to the ideal, but the 3126/C7 have lower pk torque RPM So either works OK. the difference between the two is only ~5%. You will of course have 5% less final pull force/thrust with the 3.7…
Well never was much of a gambler:)
Ok, if K11 and K26 removed did not stop 77 from tripping, there are only a few other places that power goes, and all of them are in the drivers dash.
The alarm buzzer in the dash, which is controlled by grounds provided by the low air switches or the...
Yea you would need a different 2 output PCU and wiring, or add a Y gate solenoid to switch the LMTV single channel PCU output between the front and rear systems.
have thought about this as an option to my manual control system if needed, but my build goal is to try and balance the axle...
My reason for betting on K11 being the path that causes the short, is that when K11 energizes with the ignition sw, it provided power from CB77 to the start switches. One of those switches is down on the passenger frame rail/out in the weather. If the wiring has been damaged or the sw has...
Pull relay K11(alt excite) and K26(neutral start) and see if it still pops CB77. If it doesn't pop 77, re-install one relay at a time and see which one pops CB77...
need a direction to follow. My money is on K11 providing the short circuit path:)
Yea thats not the right p/n for the 3116 pump…
There are at least 2 pumps used on the 3116. The standard highway version and the Agricultural version. Not sure if the marine version uses a different WP. I believe the 7AG in our s/n denotes this as an AG engine.
The pumps rear housings bodies...
About any 7” headlight can be made to work. Mine had none, i started with basic P6 halogens from the parts store at first then shifted to some halo ring leds. Common jeep part, so lots to choose from. You will need yo make some adapter pigtails from the 1/8” female banana plug ends on the...
