    Eliminate the air/oil pump

2" piston has an area of 3.1416 sq/in. 35cu/in = only 11 inches of cylinder travel.... Now if the rod end has fluid in it returning to the reservoir as the cab raises, that should give you enough fluid to lift the cab. Depending on the pump internal plumbing and seals, as you lower the cab...

    Eliminate the air/oil pump

Ok, back to the first question, what is the pump reservoir capacity/volume?

No power to cab accessory outlet

    Cool!

    Eliminate the air/oil pump

Well if the vent is clear working , any overflow should be coming from there, not where the pump body meets the reservoir…. Take it completely off and try it…

    Eliminate the air/oil pump

What is the volume of the pump reservoir does the pump have an air vent/filler port? That is what PP was getting at, the oe pump does not have a vent either as the plumbing directs fluid to the hand pump up to about 5 psi to keep it full, then sends the rest to the air op reservoir which IS...

No power to cab accessory outlet

There is a page elsewhere in the diagrams that has a more detailed PDM1 diagram that should show the connector and pin for 12v batt in and out. Like the drawing pic you posted shows that accessory output connector and pin, P101-E.

    Windshield washer nozzle replacement

I am thinking that access is more like accessing the wiper linkage. Since it is in the front skin, It is forward of the dash, heater and power panel assemblies.

No power to cab accessory outlet

well power in and no power out, the pipe is broken somewhere... The earlier versions of those PDM's like the VIM in the A0 trucks was a traditional circuit board with bonded circuit runs between the solder points. Never seen inside a new one, looks much more robust. Thanks for the peek.

No power to cab accessory outlet

I wiird a car stereo onst… I can handle this:) perhaps someone put in a no-blow fuse, and cooked off the solder run on the circuit board in PDM1 associated with CB-84?

What have you done to your FMTV or LMTV today

I am NOT welding on the main chassis frame. I have disconnected the upper 6” secondary frame rail huck bolt joiner plates from the main 8-3/4 chassis frame rail(plates still attached to upper frame will serve as alignment guides). I am converting that upper rail into the floor structure for my...

Stewart Steven’s deuce brake line issue

Identify the part in the 24P manual(in the manuals section) to get to the P/N and ID the manufacturer(probably Haldex), look at their website to see if they still offer a rebuild kit, or if you need to replace the entire component…

What have you done to your FMTV or LMTV today

Haven't figured that out entirely, but there is no problem that cannot be solved thru the appropriate application of high explosives...:)

What have you done to your FMTV or LMTV today

Started my habitat build... Right side outer floor frames and band, squared and tacked in place.

Restart procedure post Overhaul. Won't crank.

Correct, K26 powers K11 and the oil pressure switch removes K11's ground and de-energizes it when it sees ~15 PSI of oil Pressure. K11 de-energizing shifts 24v ign power from the start circuit to the alternator enable ckt. I like this ckt design better than the A0, at least if you have an oil...

yea i agree, I think the mil opted out, at least of the functionality. now the sensor may actually be there and used by the TCU internally. Fill it with oil and find out:)

Think I found my air leak

I just noticed mine leaking a little yesterday when I was welding on my floor ribs for my habitat build:)

    Rpm

Yea, at these angles and RPM's the shafts must be perfect, considering a failure typically wipes out the transfer case at the minimum. This is especially true for the rear, as it is at the maximum length of 61" for the type 16 driveshaft, so suffers from maximum longitudinal vibrations already...
