Luckily no H.O.A.'s here but they just complain it's noisy and don't like where I park no matter where . It creates an eyesore and looks red-necked. I am a red-neck I guess and am proud of it. This is a hobby for me and I dont fool with my truck much . I put the truck in the garage . He later...
I have a 1 acre lot and my neighbor didn't like where I parked my deuce. Bought a trailer to go with it and it got worse. I tried talking and reasoning with no luck . I try really hard to be nice to them . His dog comes over and does his buissness on my landscaping, patio, wheels and tires , and...
I don't think it's a sin to bob one. I just bought my second truck a M923. When I get it home and work out the bugs if any I will probably bob my deuce. Im not sure about moving the first axle either.

Made a bracket and added a 12v chevy alternator and battery . Installed a battery ground keyed disconnect switch I got from a caterpillar dozer. Next week I hope to install a radio and cb.
I have a 12000 warn on the front of my duece and it works just fine . Ive used it once when I was stuck but not buried and it was fine. You will have to use snatch blocks though cause it will heat up too much in a hard pull if you dont. I like how you have yours mounted and will probably redo mine .
My dog Jasper manages to get in almost all of my pics.To answer the question bout my winch , it came off of a power company international truck that set poles . It is 12v so I added a seond alternator and another battery. It all works great for me. It's not the strongest winch but with a snatch...
My truck belonged to the 437th mp. It is a plain truck. I repainted it and put back the markings on the bumper as they were. I plan to put convoy lights on mine.
