Not sure what plate(s) you need but I've seen a ton of them for sale at "EasternSurplus"... Except they don't have THE ONE I NEED... A M925a2 With/Winch - (I know that's redundant - but that's how they're listed). The funny thing is, I have a 923 Data plate on my truck (a 925)... I guess the 18...
Well you guys have provided me the perfect alibi for me to justify new "parts" trucks.
btw - I love your avatar. I wish someone would incorrectly mark my pre-purchase. I typically get the opposite disclaimer... "Runs Perfect!" ... only to find out that means... down hill, coasting... as...
Im starting to convince myself I need TWO of everything... You know, an extra one as a parts truck, right?
I've read how everyone kids about the ADDICTION... But I can tell it's a real thing.
Yes, I just started shopping - got an approx $4,000. Still shopping - as I have a very flexible time table and I can drive the truck somewhere to meet if it's better for price.
This is is an easy solution for 12v power supply to a cigarette lighter/charger for the iphone.
I simply made a clamp-on device to one 12v battery by using a small set of alligator clip/jumper cable clamps soldered to small gage insulated (+ & -) wire - to a 12v charger. Ran the cord out the...
A Simple Solution For "5-ton's" of Sound.
I just threw a Bluetooth speaker in - linked to my iTunes. Worked great! No need for a radio install and 24v to 12v conversions.
Here ya go...

I'm in the market too - for bringing out my 925a2 from Columbus to CA. So maybe we can get a good deal on two! As I'm told two will fit on certain trailers.
Let me me know if you find someone, and I will likewise.
Yes, I know... You're exactly right. I've already started thinking of what's next...trailer?, gen?, a set of 5-tons (wreaker, dump)? I don't know yet...but I know it's not the last piece of green.
We picked up the truck in Maryland (after a red-eye flight from the left coast). Took our time to drive to Johnstown, Ohio- where I've got a place. I wasn't prepared to bring it all the way out west just yet.
In June, I'm bringing it out to CA. Just in time for a 4th of July parade. Looking...
Thank you. Just purchased the locking handles too. Your photo just reminded me of another question. What is the standard handle position? (Horizontal or vertical - as in your photo?) Or is it just preference? My original handles were vertical.
I'm sure I'll be adding to this list... Feel free to contribute also. These are just some of the things that I encountered on my 1st trip in the 925a2.
1) Turn Signals - non cancelling. (And the blinking light is designed to hide behind the steering wheel). Even though I'd remind myself of...
Yeah, I got lucky to get two stars on my bumper - one painted and the other (my cute wife)! She was quite the trooper - I'll post some more photos and videos soon.
Yes, the truck is a recent re-build from 2012 - so essentially no rust issues. I think I'll add a camo paint scheme but now I kind of like the solid mean green... So idk what I'll end up doing.
Thank you guys!
This is what I was looking for.... And what I had thought. (I'm a pretty big, strong guy, so I was thinking I could handle such an event) - not saying it would be easy. But you gave me the info I needed.
That will be one one the first things I do... Free up the existing lugs...
