    M816 Throttle Creep

Sounds like a bad rubber fuel line from the tank. On the 800's the line leaks air and will idle low for a long time until the air is bleed out and then she takes off. Mine was doing the exact thing and I replaced the line and filter (with new can gasket) and poof fixed.

what fuels can a cucv handle

If you filter it to 2 microns you have a chance it would be ok. But the stock pump dies on pump fuel too. Your mileage may very.

When I I stalled M1009 axles under my M1008 I I stalled the blazer speedo adapter on the transfer case. All was fine until I installed 33"tires. Do you really think that 15w-40 engine oil is too thick at 30*? Come on and use some common sense! If it is not starting at 30* you have a major problem. cranking fast but no start? Glow plugs. Cranking slow and no start? Batteries/starter. its just that EZ
