Mark did you try Vintage Maine?? I just got my wiring harness for my M3 from them about a month ago. Really nice. They may have the parts your looking for. My 2 cents. I'm heading over after work to install part of the harness on the frame.

Nice before and after M215, heres a picture of my parts HT, the loggers had it and broke the frame. They had a yarder on it. The one Im restoring was from a mill and had a cherry picker on it. Going on year three of my restoration. Lots of blood sweat and tears (and $$$$$). But they are well...
You might also go over to G503 and halftrackinfo.com, Lots of knowloge on both of those sites. You can check my thread on My M3. But I will tell you that you will need a large heavy screw driver or a draglink tool, maybe an impact flat blade driver. An air impact wrench. Torch or someway to heat...
I tell you guys I had no clue where I was at on that Reforger, I followed the jump CP for 3 days. We got so lost that we ended up driving through the enemy motor pool. We were moving constantly. I'm glad I was driving a 5ton. least it had power steering. I was stationed at Lee Barracks, Mainz...
Oh don't get me started on war stories. One thing for sure the 113's when they had the rubber pads on them don't work worth a crap on snow and Ice. We were at Baumhlder I was heading up a hill with my 5ton dump, it was packed snow, my LT starts hollering I looked up and saw a track coming down...
Great info Hasbeen. An old buss we have out on the drill field has an 8v71 that has some kind of power pack set up. Looks to be a real pain. The detroits were one of the best engines ever built for fire apparatus. durable and cheap to rebuild. One of the biggest problems we had with the 6v53 on...
Well we must of chewed some the same dirt then I was in a mechanized engineer company in 77, We were on that Reforger. As memory serves, the engine in the 113 was a 6v53 detroit. It's possible that the engine they stuck in it was a 6v71 detroit. it had a few more ponys then the 53 series. but...
Eddy you pegged that about right, my Boss is very understanding and I couldn't have attempted my project with out her support. Still can't figure out what she see's in me?
Ok, if you have the capability of getting the crane off you might think about it. First and formost check the frame. Allot of times when they put the cranes on them they would lenghten the frame. That is a real problem. Also make sure the frame is not bent and they haven't welded too much crap...
Hi I was on my way to a Veterans Parade. The transmission started getting hot and then lots of noise. So no 2nd, 3rd and 5th. I have 1967 M36A2. I know I lost the counter shaft. I had checked the oil the night before. I'm going to get a manual, but where is a good place to get trans parts or God...
Well Friday was a red letter day in my restoration. We moved the frame over to the paint shop and got it painted:p This means from now on parts will be going back on, I'm starting back up hill:D So here are some shots.

Hi Mark, hadn't seen you over on the "G" for a while. Glad to see your starting on your Maxon. Hows the rest of your track doing?
My Frame on my M-3 is heading for paint this Friday and I can start putting it back together.
