I went to Walmart and purchased the 6" LED strips that run on 12v and stuck them in strategic places on the back side of instrument panel. 2 strips per set I wired two sets together they are self adhesive wired them into a switch they work great. I have dual alternators so I have a 12v system...
They do make a kit I believe for the 998. my system is on a deuce but you still have the 24v system your just adding a 12v system it is separate so no need to change anything 24v just add 12v stuff that you want
I would vote for it. I am sorry I would have loved to come but I was not able to make it but because of being on disability after back surgery I was just not able to afford the fuel there and back in my deuce. I don't get paid for another couple weeks.
I was going over the website for the off road ranch. It talked of a deposit as well as the $10 daily fee. I would love to attend but I cannot afford the trip the daily $10 dollars plus food and incidentals as well as a large deposit. Is this something I need to worry about or do I just need to...
I use a 75:1 torque multiplier for my deuce with it a 10 year old could spin the lug nuts off and requires no air to operate. They are easy to find got mine at NAPA I think it was.
I would like to try to attend the off road & camping portion. I am unsure as it is a little to early for me to tell for sure because of work related issues. It would be just me and my M35A2 if I am able to attend.
I went civilian after my second alternator. I went with the whole dual setup for the price of an original military alternator. Now I have 12v & 24v system and they push a whole lot more amps and are cheaper to repair or replace.
my OEM alternator burned out twice so I installed this kit for the same price a a single OEM alternator. 12v & 24v with way higher output and cheaper to replace if they ever go bad.
