Check the make sure you have the correct serpentine belt to pulley setup..a small fixed pulley with a -3 belt will slip and cause the Tach to be spotty
They are accessory mounting plates, you can’t drill into the fender top like older trucks to mount stuff because you would drill into the
fender AC condensers.

the split rim is entirely different than a standard rim from a solid rim, the shoulder of the split rim has a soft shoulder that is kept on via the bead lock, in this case…the-run flat.

any Car or truck is best served using engine braking on long grades than riding the brakes, riding the brakes ultimately overheats the brakes and warps your rotors, not uncommon for brake fires on big rigs that don’t use exhaust brakes on downhill grades.

Make sure the cold advance and fuel solenoid wires aren’t reversed on top of the injection pump.
you said the engine is overheating…how do you know? And if it is…driving it till the engine is dead ain’t the smartest thing to keep doing.
