Go find the leak…clean it off, blow it off, install a pressure system tester, air it up to say 10psi and see where it’s coming from…could be from the thermostat housing, thermostat cross over etc…
Military TM‘s have many “changes” eventually the Govt issues a “new” manual with new “publication date”,these new manuals incorporate all the previous “Changes as well as new content , but the newer manuals are not for General release and are on the ETM’s, those ETM’s are restricted.
Anyone with money can start a business , the question is, do you have the technical resources to work on these vehicles?

Most people have a 2 car garage and are already at max cars, people also have CC&R’s that they have to contend with, there are more of these folks than there is folks with room to store a parts truck, even I’ve run out of room at the shop and I have 2 acres.
ive removed hundreds, only ever had a couple separate and that was due to not being patient and using penetrating oil on really stubborn units or not using my puller, it’s not a race, take your time.
use a multi- meter to determine if the breaker is open or closed, but yes…you can bypass by jumpering the 2 leads together, but maybe the breaker is working as designed and you truly have a short that is blowing the breaker?

The response was satire…the “assume” ass- you- me is an old saying for many years….so no, I’m not offended. And in retrospect, assuming something is correct is not how you verify something is correct, especially on an ex-military vehicle worked on by 18yr olds who can barley check the engine oil.
