Hi,
Sorry for the delayed response...(kinda anti-climactic)
I wrote a huge post twice already only to have the internet come crashing down on my head so I'll make this short. :x
A big thanks for everyone who made the effort to attend
-Everyone contributed to make this a really great...
RE: Truck is progressing steadily
OK Thats it!!! Its go time. Goin home and doing the final preps. See you guys tommorrow!!! The 923 is loaded with wood, The Deuce is packed and the Willys MB will be in tow.
I know I'm gonna forget somethin'
RE: Re: RE: My BIG M925A2 Project Truck Is Home
Now thats a project to sink your teeth into. Its got beef ! Good Luck!
Its funny that you mentioned the spray on bed liner; Our Airforce 923 has a very rough textured spray on bed liner on the bed floor and inside surface of the dropsides...
RE: Truck is progressing steadily
Thanks John. We'll probably have our last fill up at the station at exit 104 on I-81 which is right down the street from RC park. See you Saturday!
I have updated the convoy info o the main page.
IMPORTANT!
I have not heard from Blackout or the M29 Weasel guy and M37Dodge said he is either going to meet at exit 77 or is going up Sat. So that makes the Allentown exit 45 stop unnecessary. If I don't hear anything from these guys by...
With the 11"s it cruises a little slower but just as easy. You could easily go cross country with a 939
Question: When yours downshifted into 1st just before coming to a stop, was it abrupt? Ours is not quite slamming into 1st but its pretty hard. All other shifting seems normal and tight.
Thanks for the right up. You got brass balls :)
I know what you mean about the "road construction." At least by me, when there's a consctruction zone, actual work is taking place. When our convoy was on I81 and approaching RC last year, same scenario: One lane closed, cones out for...
Very Cool man!!! Now I see why you like these things! There quite, comfortable, fast, and no smell of diesel fumes!
-We just changed all the fluids in the 923. The tranny filter is easy as its right there near the tranny cooler in the engine compartment. We did get all the paper work, Ops...
Weather: It looks like somethings gonna move through on Thursday/Friday so we may catch some of it on the way out. Otherwise we'll have partly cloudy skies and cool temps the rest of the weekend.
Thanks for the PM.
Sorry to hear that guys. Start that checklist of things for next year now and you might be ready  There's always next year. Ricky, PM your # so you can call us an hour or two before you arriv at camp so we can be at the HQ to meet up. Are your bringing the Burb or the tractor...
RE: Fuel prices
Wow those are much cheaper than at home. Thanks. I dont know how to move this post  Probably just copy and paste would be easier.
Awesome. I owe you.
Oh about the ABS MWO....I didn't see any tag for that or any sensors or wiring at the axles that would be a giveaway.
I read the safety report a while ago and my conclusion is that the operator is mostly responsible for the tire-lockups causing the engine to stall...
